The Pleasures Magazine is pleased once again to announce this year’s list of The 12 Most Influential Pastors in Ghana. The list is the result of over 60 nominations from readers of the magazine, Christians across the nation and from our online interaction. After carefully tabulating each nomination, what follows is a list of people deserving of our recognition and thanks. As with all types of lists, there are those not on this list, not because they were not deserving, but simply because we could not publish a list of the 100 most influential Pastors in Ghana. The crew of The Pleasures Magazine did not choose this list, as we do some of our past issues; rather, we feel that the nominations from Christians across Ghana are more representative.

Bishop Charles Agyinasare born 22 March 1962) is the founder and presiding bishop of Word Miracle Church International and other associate churches, a Pentecostal-charismatic ministry with branches all over the world. The Most Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah - Apostle, Prophet, Pacifist, Philanthropist, Entrepreneur, Educationist, Author and Motivational Speaker was born on Tuesday, February 23, 1960 to the late Mr. J. O. Ankrah and Madam Victoria Ziddah. Out of his polygamous father’s 24 children, he is the 22nd but the fifth of his mother’s seven children. The first key person who had a profound impact on his spiritual life was his God-fearing mother whom he affectionately calls Mmaah (a Ga word which means ‘my mother’).

Solid Rock Chapel is a true bible believing church which was founded by Rev. Doctor Christy Doe-Tetteh in 1994.Solid Rock has several branches all over Ghana,and still growing.Its a powerful charismatic church.She likes to be called Mama Christy A.K.A spiritual bulldozer.
Mama Christy is truly championing a great cause for many men and women in ministry who look up to her as a mentor.Mama Christy has been honored with three doctoral awards;from the Truth Bible College on Feb. 16,2003,Global Bible University on May 23,2007 and Eastern Theological Seminary on May 23,2007. Her church Solid Rock Chapel is the only woman-led Charismatic church that has set up a Bible school. The Bible school of the Solid Rock Chapel was opened in 2001 and the first batch of thirty three graduates came out in March 2002. The school is unique in the sense that its students are not composed of those who are called into the ministry but also people who are already professionals, such as bankers, lawyers, lecturers, traders among others. And many have testified that since they enrolled at the school they have been able to trade more profitably. Other have salvaged their rockery marriages; there have been improvements in the way husbands and wives relate to each other. The establishment of the Bible College by Rev Christy is a great relief for women in the ministry.

Bishop James K. Saah is the Resident Pastor of The Prayer Cathedral, Spintex Road, Airport-Accra, Ghana. Having served many years in Benin City – Nigeria as a missionary under the tutelage of the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa he rejoined CAFM over 18yrs ago.
He is a bible teacher, a Pastor and a conference speaker across nations.
In Ghana he preaches and teaches both on television and radio. God has used him to promote the Thursday Morning JERICHO HOUR prayer meetings at The Prayer Cathedral – Spintex Road-Accra, which attracts international attendance with phenomenal supernatural visitations of the Holy Spirit and astonishing testimonies.
