Pleasures Magazine to organize the maiden edition of African Development Recognition Awards 2014

Over the years, the award industry has seen different award schemes, from academic, corporate, agricultural, entertainment, hospitality down to sporting award events which acknowledge and award individuals who have excelled in different endeavours in their careers and lives.
No awards scheme exists to acknowledge outstanding humanitarians, Africans in the diaspora, corporations and manufacturers who have given their best to improve the state of our continent, Africa or to award individuals who have excelled in different fields with their talents and in creating their own businesses.
Pleasures Magazine has therefore designed the perfect awards scheme to acknowledge the efforts which individuals and groups in our various organizations put in towards development, hence the creation of “African Development Recognition Awards”, which will have its maiden edition this year on the 21st December, 2014.
In a press release about the award scheme, the publisher of Pleasures Magazine, Deacon Ola Babatunde stated;
 ‘We are persuaded that the future is decided by what we do today. That’s why we are gathering the smartest minds in Art, Media and Entertainment, Religion, Manufacturing, Community advocacy,  Philanthropy and Entrepreneurship from various organizations in Ghana and Nigeria to showcase, reward and cause impact in the society.’
The African Development Recognition Awards is an initiative from Pleasures Magazine, one of the fastest growing media houses in Africa.
